What is "LOL" that is used so often on this forum ? There is another one "IMHO" , I got that one figured out - In My Humble Opinion. You know there is an on-line hotel website LMHO - Last Minute Hotel Online - and before knowing the meaning of IMHO, I have always wondered what is IMHO what is the relevance.

LOL means "laugh out loud." I always thought that IMHO meant "in my honest opinion", but I guess that is pretty much the same as "in my humble opinion."

Here's more:
LMAO - Laughing My *ss Off
ROFL - Rolling On The Floor Laughing
:)

I thought it meant lots of love. Ah no wonder I thought complete strangers were being a bit gushy. I do however having been told by son that the H stands for humble. IMO sounds more honest to me, some here ain't so humble,

I agree with GS. LOL over here means Lots of Love
