hello all!

I'm traveling to Singapore (to study as an exchange student) in 3 weeks and my brother is coming with me to help me settle in. He's only going to be there for 3-4 days MAX. Most of the time he's going to be out helping me figure some things out.

Basically, he only needs a cheap place to sleep at. It would also be really convenient to us if he is able to find a cheap hotel/motel/ inn that is located near NUS.

Also know that Singapore is very very small. Your bro could try to find a cheap place along the MRT line and he'd be able to get back and forth relatively easily (MRT trip and then a quick bus trip from there). At least, this may open up his options.

You brother can stay here:

santa Grand Hotel & it is walking distance to NUS Engineering Fac or a short bus or Stroll to any other faculty.

There are few food outlet (wondering Roti Prata at the corner coffeeshop) and bus stop right 50m away to anywhere in town or vivocity......he can also cross the road to take a short bus ride to West Coast Town centre for food & etc.
