Can you recommend an English speaking guide to drive 5 people and a lot of luggage from the airport to Valpo with nice scenery, culture, wine, etc. en route? How much would this cost in US dollars? We will need 3 inexpensive rooms for two nights--ideally with views in nice neighborhoods. Suggestions?

Hello,

You can get a great experience for around USD 200 each, including the two nights at a small boutique hotel like the Somerscales, with great views and service, with an English speaking guide waiting for you at the airport with a van, and on the way to Valparaíso, visit a winery and include a winetasting.

Is it OK ?

The Grand Hotel has also been recommended. How does it compare to the Somerscales-- both for price and experience?

Hi,

The grand house is different, their neighborhood lies far away from the heritage quarter, although the owners are very nice also.

About the Somerscales and the transfer/tour/lodging package, try sending an email to giannimuzio@gmail.com, so you can directly ask Gianni, the Somerscales' manager to book this, and they will make the connection.

And don't forget to tell him it was a recommendation from the local expert for Valparaíso.
