Hi everyone

Do you have any suggestions for a clean well-located budget to mid-range hotel ($40-80 for a double) in Quito? I will be there for 2 days and would love a conveniently located, clean, and preferably not-to-noisy hotel. I will be going on a jungle tour after the stay in Quito and would like a hotel that we'd be able to store some of our luggage at for 4 days as well. Thanks everyone!

I always stay at La Casa Sol. They have a very friendly staff and are very reliable. You can store you luggage there and not have to worry about it! I believe a double is $46 and that includes a nice breakfast.

We loved the Hostal Santa Barbara - under $70 including breakfast, spotlessly clean, free internet, free storage of luggage, and a quiet environment. Lots of other Canadians seem to have found this place, as there were several others there when we stayed.

We stayed our first 3 days at Hotel Los Alpes, and were not impressed. We were impressed with Santa Barbara.
