We are going to be in Kotor for about 5 hours in October (on a cruise)

I would like to visit Perast as well.

I understand there is a bus which takes about 15 minutes, is this correct?

How often does the bus run in October, and where does it leave from?

Also is there a boat service or a taxi we could get instead, and what is the approx cost?

Any information at all would be really helpful..

Thank you very much

I'm not sure about the bus service but it is only a short journey by car, taking about 10 minutes. If you're in Kotor you should be able to get a taxi pretty easily if you ask one of the locals in a restaraunt or somewhere and probably not costing much either. If you only have 5 hours i'd recommend spending more time in Kotor, much more to see than perast and in my opinion prettier. Perast is very small so don't expect to be there for too long although it is very pretty.
