sorry don't know much about Vegetarian Restaurants but if you type Vegetarian Restaurants in the search engine above your post there are 4 pages of info so you should find something there.

Hopefully someone else will be able to advise you more but in the meantime have a look through the pages.

I do know their is one in Souk Madinat called Magnolia but again don't know anything about it. Sorry not much help!

Sorry, that should have read there is one in souk madinat. in too much of a hurry as usual :-)

Some which come to mind are:

-Asha's at Wafi

-Dhow ka Aangan at Dhow Palace hotel

-Khana Khazana at Al Nasr Leisureland (Sanjeev Kapoor's restaurant, he's a Celebrity Indian chef)

As for some on a lower budget, there are plenty as the Indian population here is large. So you'd find these smaller eateries all over.

For budget one - Saravanah Bhavan - Karama

Veg Thali very nice - less than 10 Dhs but well worth a visit.
