Eating with Kids at Madinat |

Beachcombers good with kids especially younger ones they have a play area with playstations etc colouring and the like for tiny ones.

If your going to be in town of a Friday, book in advance the Friday Bruch at J W Marriot. The have a great bruch and an awesome kids section set up. They won't want to leave, honest. It's a huge room, just for them. Taxi's are cheap and it's an all you can eat and drink. Really great food too! Friday Brunch in Dubai is a must do.

Noodle house is good , very reasonable, Shimmers is an outside venue on the beach and i think more of a lunch venue nice salads/club sandwiches etc, possibly to hot for the kids as the beach will be damm hot when you go, and to humid to enjoy it in the pm. I found in July shimmers to warm to really enjoy what i was eating. JBH which is only a buggy ride up from the private beach/promerade and they have some pretty decent places and im sure they have a pizza/italian on the beach but that is inside as well. Toscanno a small italian/pizza/pasta resturant at madinat and very reasonable id also recommend trader vics. The brunch I think would be great but I personally feel its more adult/formal esp with the copious amounts of booze that is consumed, that is one of the reasons they are so popular as most have free champers , young kids could get bored and not really enjoy the experience of having to sit in there sunday best for a few hours when they could be in the pool. So if i was going for a brunch id def go with one geared to families, but to be honest if you stick with just the hotel resturants, your bill will add up, id def get a cab down to the marina where there are many resturants and a good place to people watch. There is also a hard rock cafe near to the GHH and there used to be a planet hollywood at the wafi centre i think. check out the time out dubai for family friendly places.

www.timeoutdubai.com/dubai/awards/winners.php check out this link, johnny rockets at the marina gets the award for best family fun resturant, and the al qasr won best brunch for 2007 and it does say plenty to keep kids amused , so im sure they will have a wonderful time.
