Hello everyone,

I was wondering whether anyone can tell me about the light show? What time is it?

Thank you!

Think the light and fire show starts at about 7.30-8pm.

Eodman

It's the fountain immediately in front of the entrance. About sunset they have a fire and water show that I think you can only see from the windows at the Sahn Edar lounge or if you are immediately in front of the Burj. I think it may also be visible from the pool area at the Mina but don't know for sure.

So the fountain shoots water about 30 feet in the air and is surrounded by flames.

I've only ever seen it once but assume it takes place every night. It's just that last year we happened to be sitting in the front of the Sahn Eddar lounge when it kicked off.

Lots of folk asking about this on here now so perhaps I'll fire off a quick email to them to check.

The exterior changes colour through out the night so a good place to see this is at places overlooking the burj iem ina al salam ,or JBH nd Al Qasr

The fire explosions depend apparently if they have important guests in residence, not sure about that but ive heard and seen it, and you can really only witness it if your in side the lobby area of the burj.

To compare with say with cesars palace in vegas where they have timings of the fountains and crowds appear the burj is not geared to that , and you cant get anywhere near either unless you are a guest or have a resturant booking.

The best I ever saw was when we were having dinner at the Majlis al Bahar ( the Burj beach restaurant)

It started about 9pm and lasted for a good 30 minutes, lights, fire, fountain the lot, It really was pretty spectacular.

I told Kath I had arranged it specially for her !! LOL

Didn't see anything when we were there but were in our suite on the first evening and went out around 7pm on the second. Definitely nothing happening as we were leaving to go out so am afraid I can't help on that one at all. sorry.
