Hi. We'll be staying in Dar al Masyaf for our honeymoon but i'd looked up a couple of nice restaurants in the JBH. Just wondering how to get there? Can you just walk? Or do they offer any transport over?

you ask the guys on the desk at dar to get you a buggy to JBH it takes you to mina al salam then you jump on another to JBH -10/15 minutes and all free , buggys go via the private beach promerade and far quicker than going to al qasr front entrance for a cab.

its a really nice way to travel.

Hi,

I have not longed returned from Dar al Masyaf, it was amazing, you are going to have such a great time. To get to JBH you just ask your butler to call you a buggy and it will take you straight there, we never once had to change at mina al salam.

i've stayed at Dar al Masyaf on 4 seperate occasions, and the buggy ALWAYS changes at the mina salam section. they have two seperate teams of staff running them - one for JBH and the other for madinat. we once asked why we couldnt go from DAM to JBH in one go, and were told that the drivers are (or should be) instructed to only go as far as mina salam in eaither direction then change.

I got back this wednesday and the buggys now do go direct to the JBH. I have always changed at the Mina before but when I went to do this , this time I was told rules have changed and they now go direct.
