Life Resort and Vinh Hung are both town located resorts. Vinh Hung lay on a river size, and Life is really zen beauty resort.

If you are looking for relaxing feeling, then go for Life.

If you want a beach front resort, why not try with Victoria Hoi An or Palm garden.

December is winter time in Vietnam but Hoi An will not affect much from the cold from the North. Enjoy your trip

We stayed at Vinh Hung Resort in May and liked it very much. I would not call it a 4 star hotel. I would rate it as better standard than, say, the York Hotel in Singapore but with only two floors in each building. Quiet location and 5 minute walk to town.

Cannot comment on the Life Resort as we did not stay there.

I forgot to mention that there are at least two Ving Hung Hotels in Hoi An as well as the Ving Hung Resort. My comments are about the Ving Hung Resort.

Stayed at the riverside resort which was fantastic - halfway between town and the beach. Excellent location, and great rooms, service, surroundings.

Planning to stay there again.
