It's a very interessting cruise to the Northern Greenland during the total solar eclipse. A cruise ship will go up through the Greenland west coast up all the way to the 81°North and be there during the total solar eclipse on August 1, 2008. It is a 16 day trip that will cost from US$6100 including flight tickets from Copenhagen.

The cruise will start in Kangerlussuaq and it will visit many villages during the way including Ilulissat with the gigantic icebergs that are produced there. The ice fjord push out 20 milions ton of fresh water in the form of iceberg per day! That is about the same as New York city consumes for a year! And this is every day year round.
