I spent my childhood days at Bagerhat. It was a fascinating experience Which Icould not forget throughout my life.I heard the stories of the two domistacated crocodiles,Kalapahar and Dhalapahar which lived in a pond near Sat Gumbaj. Are they living still today.I am interested in their history and details of their day to day activities. Will anybody help? Dear Saiful,

Thank u for the post.It is not understood why the descendants of the Kalapahar and

Dhalapahar could not survive and Indian crocodiles had to be imported there. If any poaching was done at

the sacred dighi? Is any crocodile visible at Daratana

river now?Thank u for the information given by u. Debapriya
