I've been constantly looking at hotels in Venice beach and Santa Monica only to be really disappointed with the reviews. The ones I like are too expensive and the mid range ones are really hit and miss...

Is it worth while to stay in Santa Monica or Venice Beach or should I stay somewhere like the Hollywood Celebrity and make day trips to the beach? I have 2 nights (3 days pretty much) and will have hopefully done the whole hollywood scene by this stage...

Any thoughts, I'll be there in July. I just want something safe for 2 girls with the price range of about $200...

Thanks for any help!

That's interesting since you're the one who is nitpicking on MY posts. Who is your "some people" referring to above and in every single thread? Have you ever heard of a phrase "treat people the way you want to be treated?". Until you can do so on this forum, stop complaining.

" Some people" means people who post here, which might include you, might not. It is not smartcookie.com, so please let me be able to post my opinion. That's what this forum is for, we do not have to agree but sure enough we should be able to post our opinions on here

We've been over this before. You already posted your opinion once here. Why do you feel the need to repost it every time someone posts an opposing opinion like you did here? Do you have a problem letting other opinions be on this forum?

Not at all. as this what this forum is all about.

Starting every post with " You need a car" or " You need to stay in West Hollywood" without considering the original posters question is not helpful really, so it is up to me to point out some alternatives.

Once again, you don't need to repeat your opinion three times in every thread. Once is enough.

The statement is "it's more convenient to see LA by car" and it is 100% true and valid, that's why everyone in LA drives unless they can't afford it. Doing it by bus is not as possible, but it's definitely more inconvenient and takes more time, and limits you in what you can do and see. These are all true statements that even you cannot disagree with. No one says it's impossible without a car. It's not impossible to get to Europe by boat. But it's more convenient by plane.

If you can show me a statistic online that states 100% of the people living in Los Angeles driving a car unless they could not afford one you would be right, otherwise you just posted another made up statistic. I choose not to own a car and are perfectly fine getting to whatever place i want to go

The point is to give people an OPTION, yes there is public transportation and YES you can get to places without a car. Nobody disputes that a car would be more convinient, but dont tell that because everyone is driving, you need to do so aswell. Some people are just not comfortable with that and i think it is ok for me to post here that they have other options aswell

Thanks

If you concede that it's more convenient to see LA by car on one's vacation, then why did you start this useless discussion in the first place. Since that's all that was stated above.

Because people should be aware that there are OPTIONS. Geez, it is not to hard to understand. Instead of starting each and every sentence with "You need to rent a car" on this board, you might want to read the question first as for some people it is not an option or they would not feel comfortable doing so.

If anything is useless it would be your constant rambling and attacks against myself. Just let it go, give your "advice" and move on

Thanks

"reading comprehension problems"

lol

Please let it go. As mentioned before, if you want to personally attack me or argue for whatever reason, you have my e-mail adress. No need to have your nonsense that has NOTHING TO DO with the original question in this thread on here going back and forth about nothing

Thanks
