The AAA Indianapolis Indians will be playing at home. Tickets are very reasonable and it is one of the best ballparks in the county. Very fan friendly every seat in the park is great or sit on the lawn behind the outfield wall. That way you can enjoy downtown and enjoy some baseball and beer. Don't forget good eats. Probably the best place for beer in the downtown area is the Ratzskeller (sp?) whih has a lot of German beer. What are your ages and what other entertainment you looking for?

I have been to Indy once before, and went to the Rathskeller for a wedding. it's a cool place.

Milwaukee has lots of festival, street parties, open air concerts, etc. I was wondering if there was anything of that nature going on. We'd just like to mingle with the locals, see some sights, and drink some beer. We'll hit the bars come nightfall.

With the lake front there in Milwaukee i know it's the Festival Capital of the US. There is usually something going on around here so as soon as I find out I'll post it.

For local flavor and beer downtown, I say you can't beat the Rathskellar. If you want to travel up to Broad Ripple (about 20 min from downtown), the Broad Ripple Brew Pub has local beer. I don't know your taste in music, but Radiohead is playing on 8/3 up at Verizon Wireless in Noblesville. I'll be there!
