I've visited someone staying there and their room was very nice--the bathroom in particular looked very recently renovated and was immaculate. It gets great reviews. It's very close to Times Sq which has great transport links, but on a side street so not as noisy as the avenues.

Born in Gateshead...moved to Canada when I was 4. Anyway, we stayed at Radio City a few weeks ago. Great location...we did hear noise, though. We were in a studio which are all located at the front of the hotel (thus the noise). Our studio was fine but the bathroom definitely wasn't renovated. The room was fine and for the price, it was what we expected. Hope that helps.

Sorry I can't claim the direct English connection for this conversation - but - I have stayed in RCA previsouly in winter and then again for a few days this summer. The first time I loved it.

This time I was disappointed. The air con was so loud that we had to turn it off to sleep which made the heat unbearable, plus we were given a smoking room (all others full apparently) which stank in the heat.

Everything was spotlessly clean but felt slightly grimy because of the all pervading smell of smoke.

I have stayed in smoking rooms previously and not experienced the smell being this bad - a lot to do with the heat and humidity at the time, I guess.

Also the wi-fi didn't work on our floor and everytime we mentioned this to the front desk it was logged but we received no follow up at all. It didn't work for our whole stay which was frustrating.

However, I'm putting this down to an unlucky room given our previous excellent experience. I would probably still stay there again but would insist on a non-smoking room.

Haha. And ours opened only 4 years after yours. Apparently they were both designed by the same firm from Yorkshire, so there really is a connection.

I've stayed there three times, so I'm obviously a fan. The location is mid-town and great for theater trips. I love the cleanliness and roominess also. There are many reviews on this site, mine included, so check them out.

Got to agree with the above, I stayed there last September and am going back for Xmas

Good kitchen, comfy beds, good clean bathroom - my hat is off

Actually I found that the air conditioning was that strong if you left it on all day you could actually leave it off while you slept

I've got a review on as well
