Short and Sweet---Stay at Hotel Monteleone, Go to the "Gumbo Shop" for great food-often, see "Rooster and Big Al Carson"-they know how to work the audience and can they play, dont go to Bourbon during the daytime-way different animal at night-everything goes. Cafe Dumond for beingets and chickory coffee. The people-"locals" are super friendly-they have some great stories of their experiences from Katrina, Great party town-similiar to Key West w/o the beach, but better food here. |

Crazier-maybe...but honest friendlier-definately, first few caught us off guard-in NY if someone is overly friendly you watch your back pocket.. how bad is that-great town you have and the people very proud of their rebound-godspeed,u guys deserve it. | ||||||
