Can someone give me some insight on how much a cab ride from Downtown Seattle to Bellvue would cost? I believe its about 10 miles. Thanks.

Not sure, but the express bus can be convenient and cheap (like $2.50?)

your answer can't be answered without knowing the time of day or if your going to a location right off the freeway or are you going on 520 or I-90. Since cabs are metered by time and distance and our traffic to the eastside is pretty congested a general answer will be quite vague. Its a $2.50 drop plus $2 a mile so at a minimum using your miles it would be a minumum of $24 but realistically 30-35 would be my best guess.

that should be a pretty quick trip at that time as Lincoln Ctr is right in downtown Bellevue. Figure $25-30. If you could get a bus the Bellevue Transit Center is very close and our buses go on the freeway.

davidqmq would love to take the bus as it would probably be a lot cheaper, $60 for a roundtrip cab ride sounds steep. Does the bus run that late on a Sunday night? Would like to head to Bellvue around 9ish (pm) and return to downtown around 11ish (pm)

I did a trial trip using metro trip planner and there is a bus. Didn't know where you were starting but used the Westin hotel or downtown as a point. There was return buses leaving at 11:20pm. You can good metro transit trip planner and you will get the site and you can put in the exact location.

Here is the going part:

A taxi could even be more like $35. I'm here on Capitol Hill and to get to Bellvue was $25 and to get downtown is usually almost $10 so...

It would be cheaper to rent a car downtown on Sunday and return it on Monday than taking a taxi. Avis has a downtown location that is open on Sundays.

If renting a car isn't an option, it may be a problem getting a taxi in Bellevue on a Sunday night at that time. You would y have to call for one because taxis don't cruise around Bellevue at any time.
