Very nice and great place to stay

Thought that the resort was very nice and liked the multiple shuttles to the golf course. Food was good as well.

Nice Property but small rooms

The condition and cleanliness of the resort was great. The rooms were a little smaller than we thought but overall it was a great experience. The food was excellent as was the service.

We would recommend going to climb the falls and the Blue Mountain Bike Tour was a great way to see Jamaica. I was pleasantly surprised how beautiful Jamaica really is! Beaches on one side and mountains with LOTS of waterfalls on the other!!

The Perfect Get-Away

Beautifully appointed room, clean, comfortable, spacious--ground-floor bungalow, steps away from everything. Elegant dinner dining, quick buffet and grill for breakfast & lunch, with options to please everyone. First-class service and graciousness from staff. Great excursions!(Skip the "shopping" tour-unless you are in the market for jewelry, watches). Weather in July was balmy, warm, occasionally rainy. Clean beach with lots of fun sports to try. Definitely GO!!!

Dunn’s River Falls is a must-see. A great group hike UP the falls, at least 1/4 mile through the water--a wet activity. Bring water shoes (mandatory)or you can buy for $17.

Absolutely wonderful!

My husband & I were absolutely blown away with this resort!The staff was extremely nice, the grounds were immaculate & food was amazing! We spent a lot of time at the resort because it had everything we needed to enjoy ourselves. This was the greatest vacation I have ever had! I can’t wait to visit more Sandals properties!

Have lots of $1 bills. Everyone outside the resort expects to be tipped. We did the dolphin encounter & had a blast!

Great time

We just got back from a five night stay at dunn’s river. The resort was abosolutely wonderfull. The staff caters to your every need. The food was above average. It seemed like there wasnt many people there you didnt have to wait for anything. We went scuba diving every day, We went and dove throught the ship wreck. If you get a chance ask to go to the wreck!!! My only complaint about the whole trip was my bed wasnt very comfortable.

Very nice hotel. Staff friendly. Food above average for an all inclusive resort. Quality of drinks exceptional. Short waits for everything. Gift shop nicely stocked. Tours were well organized and easy to arrange. The spa treatment was satisfying and professional. Highly recommend the resort!!

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

Make spa reservations a few days before you arrive. Pack dress pants and collared shirt for dinner. Women need a nice outfit for dinner as well. Romantic dinner on the beach with white glove service very worthwhile.

We’ve already booked our next trip back

This hotel was fantastic! Our room was very nice, spacious and had a great view of the mountains/hills. I am extremely picky when it comes to hotels (especially cleanliness) and this hotel was excellent. The resort itself was very nice with several different restaurants to choose from. The food wasn’t the best I’ve ever had but, it was good. The main pool is where we spent most of our time and it was very nice (comes with floaties you can lay in the pool) and all of the activities are right there. You can just watch or participate and it’s very entertaining. The staff was extremely nice and they truly seem like they enjoy what they do. Let me tell ya, that makes a difference. My husband & I have already booked our next vacation at this resort for next year. We are so excited to go back.

For lunch or really any time of day, order a "jerk" chicken quesadilla. It’s awesome. Also the tree bar at night is fun just to hang out, have a few cocktails. The staff is great!!

Wonderful

We had a wonderful time at Sandals Dunns River! The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. Housekeeping was somewhat lacking and meal times are excessive due to long waits between courses. All in all though it was an amazing vacation!!

YA MON!

My boyfriend and I had a blast. We booked the honeymoon suite on the east wing. The rooms location gave us exactly what we wanted; privacy and relaxation. We highly recommend this hotel.

In paradise

We just got back from our trip to paradise. We did not want to leave. The people are amazing. We were always greeted with a smile. ACTIVITIES: There’s always something to do. They have a schedule of events for you to partake in. Be it tennis lessons or group activities, there is something for everyone. But if you want to go out to sea, snorkeling is fun too. They drop you off inches away from the reef, within arms reach and be among the fish. Kayaking is fun, but be careful around the crazy men on the jet skis, they just don’t care if they get within inches of you. But you must try out the hobie cat. We had the guide take us out and it was amazing, don’t forget your camera. We also did the Blue Mountain bike tour, which we paid extra for. The sites were amazing. Not too hard biking, since we mainly went downhill, but always keep left. The drivers are dangerous up there! ROOM: We booked the honeymoon deluxe suite, and boy was it deluxe. Very large rooms. The sink was spacious and the closet was a good size. The mini-fridge was stocked daily. And on the last night there, we found a chilled bottle of champagne. So sweet! We’re already thinking of coming back! Yeh mon!

My Husband and I went there for our Honeymoon and everything about it was perfect from the staff to the restaurants,everything!Could’nt have picked a better place, this was our first time staying at Sandals but we will defintely be going back!

Defintely recommend visiting the falls and the horse back riding,the tour guides are GREAT!!

Great place for a honeymoon!

My husband and I just loved the hotel! The hotel staff was so warm and friendly! Also, the staff went out of its way to make you feel welcomed and comfortable. The food and the bars were great! We had a great time chatting with the friendly bartenders. The night entertainment was okay...the shows were good but the disco was not...not many people would stay to dance the night away...but I guess thats not a reflection on the hotel...I thought the music was good but we needed a crowd to party! Overall, we had a wonderful time! We can’t wait to go back. Jamaica is a wonderful place to visit! Everyone should go at least once...especially for thier honeymoon..it is a very romantic place.

We recommend the cruise to the Dunn’s River...it is blast! Also, the horseback riding was awesome!Goofy is the best tour guide!Bob Marley fans, you will love the jeep safari ride to Bob’s birth and final resting place. You really get a sense of what Jamaica and its people are like. Our tour guide Stewie was a great man and very funny! People, make sure you take bug spary! Oh, and make sure you take small bills, ones, for tipping...tipping is the way Jamaicans make thier living so they will ASK!
