Very good location
The hotel was nice, clean and service of their employees is good. It is very neer to the parlament, Byward Market, the Rideau Center and the art museum. There are also many places opened at night like the Hard Rock Cafe just a block away. If you are looking for leisure this is a very good option, you won’t need to rent a car cause everything is near by. On the other hand the carpets look old they will need some maintanance soon, same as the hotel but it is very clean so I don’t mind.
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
If you like nature on summer you can rent a bike on the Rideau Canal and border to go all along the Canal and surrond the lake. This trip can take you like 2 to 4 hours. It is better to do this than to take the boat trip on the Canal. Also I will recommend you going to the Nature Museum, it is just fantastic.

We had a great experience. The room was great, and we thought that the breakfast buffet was wonderful.
