Pleasant stay with easy access
Hotel was clean, both in the lobby and the room. Front desk staff were alert, friendly and responsive to needs. Parking was 1/2 block away and covered multiple ins and out per day through use of your own electronic card. Brand name sandwich shop was located on one corner of the property and Canal St was one block away with the French Quarter starting on the other side of Canal St. I definitely will use this hotel as one of my regular haunts for my 3 trips a year to New Orleans.

Would stay here again
This hotel is in an excellent location. The staff was friendly and no matter what time of day you left your room they would still clean it. The only disappointment I had was the breakfast. It just wasn’t my cup of tea but I’m quite sure someone else would probably love it. It’s not only continental. The room we had was wonderful. Make sure to ask for a split double, you’ll love it!!!!

If you enjoy good food don’t miss out on Dragos Seafood Restaurant (they’re closed on Sundays) or Mothers soulfood restaurant. They are very good places to experience, also don’t forget the Jambalaya.

good quality budget price
We were impressed with the size and style of this room--two rooms separated by a bathroom--at such a budget price. The staff was friendly, responsive, and professional. The only negative is that it was quite noisy--the walls were thin so anything going on in the hallway, sounded like it was happening right in our room.

Two words. Very Satisfied
the manager and the personnels are the most helpful people that i’ve met. the rooms are very clean and the location of the hotel is just perfect. i also feel secured staying here so definitely i would recommend this to other people that i know. in regards about the room, its very clean and family like, very comfortable to stay at. it’s like being at home. i extremely had a great time staying there for almost a week and the rates were very affordable. i will never forget my stay there and coming back there will be one of my major considerations in the future..

New Orleans GEM
We booked 2 nights at a great rate and based on reviews expected an okay stay. The hotel was superb, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly and they upgraded us to a king suite just because they had one available. The suite was extremely nice, much like suites in time share rentals! We were cruising out of New Orleans at 4pm and were allowed to stay in our upgraded after normal checkout for our convienence- the staff here is great. The hotel is a few blocks away from Bourbon Street, easy walking distance. This hotel is definitely worth a visit!
Traveler's tip on dining
Try a little bar/restaurant called DejaVu (one block off Bourbon Street) for great atmosphere and a "regular" non-seafood and reasonably priced meal.

Very inmpressed.
Every one at the hotel was friendly and helfful. I would definately stay there again if I am in the area. It was convenient to everything.
