The end of a wonderfull holiday in Andalusie, up in the mountain, just south of the Sierra Nevada and about a 2 hour drive to Malaga. Peacefull with great views from the terrace. With John and Orna you're a guest, that's more than welcome. It feels like being in your own backyard that you've always wanted to have. We'll surely come back to this magnificant place.

This is a wonderful hideaway for Rest & Relaxation. It is totally unpretentious and woos the visitor with the stunning scenery, top-class cuisine and genuine welcome of the affable hosts, John and Orna. It takes an intrepid car driver to venture to over 4000m near the top of the Sierra Nevada, but the drive is well worth the hair-raising road conditions to achieve the destination. Perfect 'get-away-from-it-all' location and within easy reach of Granada for a day trip. Cool in the evenings, naturally.

We had a wonderful week in Canar.

John and Orna are wonderful hosts and go out of their way to make every stay special.

The attention to detail is 2nd to none.

The food was phenomenal. The walking is breathtaking and John's advice well worth taking.

The village is great and you can get anywhere from snow to sand in a fairly short drive.

We'd really have liked to say nothing to keep this place our own little secret!

Amazing place. Ever decreasing roads wind up to this wonderful bolt hole of peace and tranquility. Incredible views, reaching far over the Mediterranean to Morocco. Exceptionally welcoming, and a fantastic retreat.
