We spent two nights in the Asakusa View Hotel. We actually experienced two different rooms at the hotel because we spent one night, left our suitcases at the hotel (which they held for us for no charge), took an overnight excursion to Hakone, and then spent one more night at the Asakusa View.
The hotel is a large, modern hotel with several restaurants. The rooms feature beautiful picture windows with great views. Both of the rooms we had were clean and quite spacious (which surprised us as we had heard that hotel rooms in Tokyo are small). Both rooms also had large (king?) beds, desks, sitting areas, vanity areas, and generously-sized bathrooms. We liked one room a bit better as the furnishings were more updated, and it was on the side of the hotel with a view of Senso-ji, so you might want to ask for that if you go.
The hotel is conveniently located near transportation, shops, and restaurants. The hotel staff was very friendly, and everyone we dealt with spoke English, so interacting with the staff was easy.
We paid about $160/night.
