Upon landing we were met with a most courteous staff and the rooms were absolutely clean and with a beautiful view of one of the large pools. The food was yummy and again the staff were most courteous. Our only set back was the shopping areas were rather far. However, that was compensated with the relaxing atmosphere by the pool and the fact that it was all- inclusive; the drinks, pizzas and burgers were splendid.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our trip and are looking forward to another. The pools were well kept, clean and beautiful. We both had fogotten all our worries and stresses the five days we were there.

My trip to Margarita was enjoyable. This hotel is not one of the best but its just good enough to have a great stay. The food was very good. It's an all inclusive hotel, so you can eat all you want and enjoy some nice drinks. There were great desserts also. The staff are very friendly. The rooms are simple, but are always clean. The restaurants as well. The entertainment is alright. There are about four pools, volley ball, and disco and theatre. I really couldnt understand the performances too much as they were basically in spanish off course. However it was still fun. If u like to dance, you will have fun. And if I may add, the men are very handsome over there.
Overall it was a nice experience and I look forward to going again.

Stayed here Nov 1998 on my first longhaul, Teesside to London, London to Margarita, was a long journey. 1st room was terrible, ground floor and away from the main hotel, boiling hot and air con didn't work, after complaints from my then boyfriend we were moved to a much better room near the top of the main complex with working air con. First Choice rep not good, when discovering I had forgot my travel adapter I though they/the hotel/anywhere nearby would have one I could borrow - no! We had to hire a car and dive 3 hours to the nearest shops. Area was very basic. Weather hot but there was some hurricane activity which we caught the end of. All inclusive food I personally found to be good, drinks not so much as made v.strong so you drink less and only 'home-made' brands. Not worth the price/trip from the uk but not the worst place I have stayed.

Rooms were tiny and hard to get to. The first night there was a power outage and the toilet worked whenever it felt like it. Pools were somewhat clean. The beach area was not the best in Margarita. The hotel is incredibly far from the city. The food was HORRIBLE! The staff was friendly for the most part.
