“Long drive to Badwater”

I drove in from the very southern end of Death Valley National Park, saw no other cars and had no cell phone or radio reception. Badwater had restrooms! All the tourists drive down to Badwater to take a picture standing by the Badwater sign and of the sea level sign. There is also a nice hike across the flats when dry. Ask a ranger at the station in Furnace Creek about hiking if you are not familiar with the area!
