My wife and I stayed here from Feb. 25-Mar. 3. We are 58-59 years old. We were in room 107 which is a studio apartment on the 2nd floor--2nd room from the stairs. Total room cost for 7 nights was either $837 or $857. The 2 complimentary beach chairs and cooler and beach towels came in handy as we went twice to Eagle Beach, once to Baby Beach, and once to Abrashi Beach. The kitchen had a semi-small refrigerator, a small toaster oven, a microwave, a 2-burner gas stove, and a coffee maker. We made spaghetti one night and everything necessary for it's preparation and eating was there in the drawers or cabinets. The kitchen had a table and two chairs. In front of the tv was a wicker and glass coffee table and 2 wicker chairs. The queen size bed was comfortable. There were plenty of drawers and closet space for clothes. A safe for your valuables too. Balcony had table and 2 chairs. Bathroom lighting was not the greatest with just one bulb on the ceiling. Shower was just big enough for me but I'm 6'2" and 280. Air conditioning was good, but we turned it off as requested when we left the room. It cooled the room very quickly when we returned. Ceiling fan in the middle of room. Telephone in room, and calls to the U.S. were $.99 per minute. There was a minimal charge for local calls. The pool was fine. (We only used it once because the 3 beaches we visited were just beautiful.) Plenty of sun bathing type chairs, a few tables with island type "roofs", and 2 hammocks. Several coconut/palm trees. All landscaping was very nice. A bookcase with many books and magazines were available. If you don't finish reading it you can take it home :-) We are so glad that we stayed here. We don't want to spend what they charge for rooms on the beach. I did know of another place that actually was across the road from the beach and was advertised for $100 per night. My wife didn't want to look at it. She is more picky than me, but said she would stay at Paradera Park Apartments if we ever return to Aruba. We highly recommend this place. Debbie and Hank were good hosts. The place was full up, but they'd chat with you as much as they could. If you don't need to see the sea from your room, then we think you'll be pleasantly surprised. The photos on this web site are just like it looks here.
