“25 years of Paradise”

Coco Point Lodge

Our family has been vacationing at Coco Point Lodge for over twenty five years. Returning about the same time each year, it is as if we are one large family having our yearly reunion. Although we have vacationed extensively throughout the Caribbean and Bahamas,we always return to Coco Point. At Coco Point you are always graciously welcomed upon your arrival by an extremely dedicated staff who strive to please throughout you stay.
From dawn to dark there is always something wonderful to do or see; or you can just relax on the beautiful beach. All meals are wonderfully prepared to your liking and served by a gracious and well trained wait staff.
It is always a pleasure to return to Coco Point and we hope to do so for many years to come.

“Coco Point Lodge "Paradise on an island"”

If you want to define "paradise island" in a simple and concise way, just say "Coco Point Lodge, Barbuda." To describe our wonderful stay at Coco Point, located in the British West Indies, in a sentence or two would be an injustice to this world-class vacation paradise. My wife and I have traveled all over North America, Europe, the Mediterranean, Asia, and the Caribbean and have never experienced such great food, great beaches, and great personal service as offered by the Coco Point Lodge and staff. It all starts with excellent personal service by an experineced and talented staff, breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus offering the freshness and varitey of a five-star hotel, served at the main dining area, or optional in-room service for breakfast, and happy hour every evening, or whenever you care to imbide at your personal room bar. When ready to relax just situate yourself with a good book, and or perhaps with a fellow guest or two, some 30-40 feet from the ocean's edge and enjoy the sound of waves lapping on the pristine private beach, and take a dip in the crystal clear waters protectd by the barrier reefs of the Atlantic Ocean. When ready for some exercise, there's tennis, snorkeling, windsurfing, waterskiing, kayaking, sailing or a simple walk on the beach. Deep sea fishing is also available for the asking. For the competitive types, there's a weekly Sunfish Sailing Regatta with a bottle of champagne awaiting the winner. Again, too few words to describe such a wonderful vacation spot in a special part of the world. I recommend a stay at Coco Point Lodge for anyone wanting a change of pace away from the over commercilized Caribbean vacation resorts.

“Eden in the Carribean”

Coco Point Lodge

Coco Point Lodge in Barbuda is truly Eden on Earth. This family owned and operated lodge has the most spectacular beach we have ever seen. Miles of white, pinkish sand, carribean blue water and no crowds to spoil the serenity and beauty of this small island paradise.
Coco Point Lodge has its own fleet of planes that fly you from Antigua to their own airstrip. The owners greet you at the plane and welcome you with a most tasty and well-deserved Rum Swizzle.
No reservation desk hastle,no credit cards, no need for money. Everything is included in your room rate exceopt for cigars and champagne.
The rooms are beautifully decorated and there are a variety of accomodations. The room we had was equiped with a kitchen and refrigerator and a bar stocked with all the name brand liquors and mixers as well as vintage wines.
The number of guests are limited to about 85. Everyone gathers at cocktail hour for drinks and h'ors d'oeuvre. Dinner is casual..no jackets required. The atmosphere was family like and if you knew no one, you did by the second or third day. The meals were superb and a variety of selections.
Activies ranged from deep sea fishing for (Wahoo, dolphin, tuna, barracuda),tennis, windsurfing, sailing, kayaking to sunbathing and reading.(Aaah the good life).
There are no televisions, telephones in the rooms and nothing is set to a time schedule except for meals.
Everything is extremely informal. The staff is abundant, friendly and gracious.

My wife and I would never go to another place in the Carribean!!

“Four Fun Filled Years”

Coco Point Lodge

With so many islands in the Caribbean, years ago we made a pact never to return to the same island twice so that we wouldn't compare a favorable visit to one less favorable. Until we visited Coco Point Lodge we adhered to that plan. We have returned to Coco Point Lodge for 4 years in a row and look forward to many more. Everything that makes for a wonderful vacation is found at this location. We had the pleasure of taking our children and grandchildren with us for an anniversary celebration. Now the whole family is smitten. Water sports abound, fishing seldom results in 0 catch, the beach is indescribably beautiful, the cuisine and wine selection is superb, and the management, under Martin and Caroline Price, is flawless. We are most pleased to return to Coco Point Lodge and find guests we have met before. It is a very compatible group that assembles each evening for the cocktail hour. Patrick Kelly, the owner, continues his father's vision of this idyllic spot. We couldn't be more pleased.

Need I say more. Coco Point Lodge is for the serious traveler who knows when he's found "Gold". Returning to the "Lodge" ever year is like returning to your own home. The staff and guests are like family members, waiting to greet you when you arrive. Everybody has their routines, ours is swimming, beach walking, fishing, sailing, snorkeling, skeet shooting, tennis and just settleling down with a good book. We have made many friends during our five years of visiting Coco Point and look forward to meeting our future friends.
