I just returned from my wedding recently held at Little Arches and I could not have imagined a more perfect setting for my intimate ceremony. The resort resembles a Mediterranean villa and the views from the pool deck and restaurant are breathtaking. The staff is incredibly accommodating- one of the benefits to staying at such a small property is that the staff really takes the time to get to know all of their guests and that personal touch amplifies the experience – they even have a manager’s reception on Wednesday nights so all the hotel guests can meet each other. We all fell in love with Dane, who works at Luna – his response to all of our questions was always, “sure, no problem.” Emma handled all of the planning for the ceremony and did an amazing job. She captured my ideas and made them into something even better than I could have imagined. The rooms are cozy and comfortable – best bed I’ve ever slept in! The linens are amazing and Sandra mentioned that they may be upgrading the linens and towels – I think they are perfect “as is”. That just goes to show how dedicated the staff is to making everyone’s experience at Little Arches spectacular. My only complaint- there was a rather loud wedding reception taking place at Luna and they had music blasting until 11pm. The guests that had attended my wedding reception had early flights the next morning and the noise caused a great disruption. I hope in the future the hotel realizes just because a group rents out their open-air restaurant they should not be permitted to disrupt the stay of the paying hotel guests. That aside, my wedding was a dream and my guests were very pleased with their stay at Little Arches.

With a welcome, that surpasses any other welcome we have had it set the scene of the next 7 days.

We stayed at The Little Arches on our honeymoon, upon arriving we were welcomed by the ever so friendly staff with delicious cocktails. A bottle of rum awaited us in our spacious room inclusive of private patio. They also have a great litle roof top restaurant serving arguably the islands best food, however service can sometimes be a little slow.

Just a few steps from the hotel was one of the most beautiful beaches on the island.
Highly recommend a short stoll to Oistins on the weekend for a taste of the local delicacies, (flying fish) live music and a fantastic atmosphere.

The poolside cocktails are worth the lounge, but if your looking for a party atmosphere St Lawrence Gap is the place to head

One final comment about Barbados, is that it is an expensive place to holiday but definately worth it!

I went here with my husband for the 2nd week of our honeymoon. We chose it because of the great reviews and because it was a nice small size. We had a great time! The staff were absolutely excellent. Helpful, friendly and just went out of their way to make everything so enjoyable. Even turning the bed clothes down every evening and leaving a chocolate on the pillow! The beach was fine. We stayed unfortunately just after a bad storm so broken coral was a bit of a pain. The pool at the hotel is a nice and relaxing. Food at the hotel delicious. And lots to do which reception will book.
Would definately go back again. Nearly called work at the time to say we were staying another week!

4 days ago we returned from our 2nd visit to Little Arches. We will be re-booking tomorrow for next year. The welcome we had was warm and friendly, the staff are the most lovely people. Cocktail hour on Wed nights was wonderful, meeting new friends and sampling the very varied menu!
Do eat at Cafe Luna as the food is superb. Also recommended are the many food stalls in Oistins ( we recommend Pat's Place ), Chefette and Surfers bay.
We thought the changes in Oistins were great, has really given it a seaside feel.On fish fry nights there are many stalls offering perfect souveniers.
Do visit the Graham Hall Nature Sanctuary. Wonderfully peaceful place, the tarpin fish will keep you occupied for ages.We also took a trip on a catamaran, which was a free gift, from the hotel, as we were staying for 10 days. Swimming with turtles, puffer fish, colourful fish,. Then anchoring up to eat freshly prepared food, and floating back to Bridgetown. Tim & Tony were funny and informative.
Little Arches has spoilt us for anywhere else. When you have only 2 weeks to take a holiday, you need to know that you will get great weather, a great hotel and time to relax. Little Arches delivers all this and more. From the reception staff, Emma, Liz & Cherisse, to the bar lads, Johnny, Jason, Tito, El Mumbo ( Leroy ), the people who serve breakfast and the gardeners, some of the nicest people I've met.
We'll be back! Jackie, Ian, Jodie & Glyn.

“Fourth visit....still amazing....!”

We've just returned from our fourth trip to Little Arches. We have made it a bit of a tradition to return to Little Arches for our anniversary since part of our honeymoon in 2004 was at Little Arches when we first fell in love with this place. We were so excited to return and were not disappointed. The staff always make us feel welcome and they always remember us and make us feel like family especially on this trip. It was great to see Cherise, Johnny, Raine, Rose and to meet new staff as well. Especially their manager Sandy. She was absolutely fabulous. She was exceptional to deal with over email and her warm and outgoing personality can't help but make you smile. Little Arches is still warm, inviting, intimate and quiet but they have made little changes to the hotel that have made the hotel even better. Our actual wedding anniversary was on the day we arrived and they treated us so well. They bought us a bottle of wine during our dinner, champagne and surprised us by scattering flowers in our room and making a flower arrangement on our bed....total surprise. It just shows how the staff at Little Arches truly want to make your stay memorable and special. We are planning to return again next year as this place truly is a treasure and a home away from home....
