Not able to swim in the ocean. Very Dangerous!!!

My wife and I just got back from a one week vaction at this hotel and were totally satisfied. This is a first class hotel; the site is beautiful, the accommodations luxurious, the staff friendly; I suggest you take one of the luxury junior suites, it's worth the price difference. The food was great; I suggest the lobster bisque or one of the fish dishes.The beef tenderloin was also one of the best I've ever had in the Caribbean. The service was perfect, not too fast, not too slow. This is a place to go if you want to relax; no loud music, no evening activities, etc. which was exactly what we were looking for. Don't forget to bring along a good book or two. The site is aso isolated, being litterally at the end of the road, so the beach is quiet, no intruders, which was fine with us. The beach and grounds are very clean. There are a few bugs in the gardens in the evening, but they really were not much of a bother. We highly recommend it.

We go to Sivory Hotel for 2 weeks from Russia after we visit USA. We like the people, they very nice and always give us good smile. Special people is Juan Pierre of restaurants, Robert of the swim pool, small lady in hotel store (I not know name), and good room clean lady. I think we stay to much days, for we not like hotel when we arrive. The rooms be small and in a bad condition. They have many cracks in walls and the windows they not be made to open, so we never have fresh air, only much noise from air condition. It not have pretty gardens and look like nobody care. The beach not be very good, it have dirty beach and not good for swim for has big water and rocks. They not have things for to do at night and we be tired of same food for all the stay, in all the restaurants it be the same food. We be ready to go home to Russia in only a few days. My wife and me have many problem from bite of bugs and it make she cry. We make call for travel agent to leave Sivory early, but it not possible and we stay all the time. Now we be happy to be home in Russian in the cold weather then for pay many Euros for be in Sivory where we not like hotel even little bit. We not ever go to this hotel again, it not be a luxury hotel like they say, only charge many Euros for nothing.

I have the chance to know what real luxury means, having stayed on the best hotels of the planet, like Oberoï, Fregate private island, Pucket Yacht club, Baan taling nam, Oriental, ... BUT this Sivory which pretends to be the best hôtel of the Caraibean, I would definitely avoid. Even for free, I would NEVER stay there again. Everything was bad : beach spoiled, restaurant basic but waiting time like in a three stars, private pool good enough to wash my feet. This small pond was just aside the neighbour and the room above plunged in it ! Forget the privacy. This was sad. Even the room was correct but noisy with room above. There are so many beautifull places and fantastic hotels in the world, I could only regret having waste ime and money there.
