A friend and I shared a 2BR/2BA cottage in October, while another couple had the 1BR cottage right next door. All of us were delighted with our choice of accommodations, and would absolutely return.
Coral Cove is located in Lance Aux Epines, a quiet residential area nearly Prickly Point. Our cottages were not fifty yards from water's edge, with an ocean view from every room. The accommodations are simple, but nicely appointed and immaculately clean. No air conditioning is present or needed, as there was always a wonderful breeze. The entire back side of the cottage is an enclosed veranda, with windows and screens running from end to end for maximum air, light, and view. The sound of the sea lulled me to sleep nightly.
The 2BR included one king, and one set of twins. There was also a rollaway bed tucked into the corner of the veranda, so you could sleep an entire family here.
The kitchen was well-equipped, including coffee maker and toaster, and the management will graciously stock your kitchen with provisions before your arrival, if you wish.
The ocean-side pool made for lovely afternoons after our mornings of scuba diving. The huge dock has shade and benches for relaxation, and steps down to the sea for swimming and snorkeling.
There are handy touches such as fresh-water showers for rinsing off the sand and salt before going into your cottage, and a clothesline right outside your kitchen door.
The king-sized bed was a little firm for my taste, but there were extra pillows (rare in such locations, in my experience), and the linens were always fresh and clean. Closet space was generous, with plenty of room for both hanging and folded clothes, and for storing luggage.
Bathrooms were large, with walk-in showers and lots of countertop and undersink storage. Water pressure was good, and the hot water supply was more than sufficient for us (larger groups might need to allow some reheat time if everyone is on the same shower schedule).
We used the room's small TV for viewing our digital photos each evening, but my friends next door also discovered the one local channel that provided some weather information and local news.
The housekeeping service at Coral Cove was probably the best I have ever encountered in my travels. Every room was immaculate, and even the dishes were washed daily.
This is not a wild party location: the cottages are quiet and serene, in an idyllic setting that feels secluded but is still convenient. We drove daily to True Blue Bay for diving, and the drive was about 15 minutes each way.
Grenada has a number of upscale, expensive resorts, but I wouldn't have traded locations. Coral Cove is a terrific value. We paid $750/week for the 2BR ( this was low-season, which runs from mid-April to mid-December).
Booking was a breeze, as I contacted Damien Noel via email after visiting Coral Cove's website. I give Coral Cove a strong recommendation, and would definitely stay there again.
