St. Joseph Home for Boys is a home away from home. I loved visiting there as well as Wings for Hope and Trinity House. They all are special in their own ways and wonderful places to visit. If you visit these homes you will come back a changed person. I have been down to Haiti twice and I plan on going back to my second home. The family shows great hospitality, respect, and love.

Wow! I had heard great things about St. Joseph's, Michael and the boys, but nothing compared to actually being there. The home is beautiful! Michael and the boys keep it very clean. The meals provided were absolutely delicious. Many nights our group sat up on the balcony enjoying the sounds of the city. It was very peaceful. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The boys were truly little gentlemen and my heart went out to them. Michael is doing a wonderful thing. I will recommend St. Joseph's to others and will definitely stay there again.

I stayed at St. Joseph's home for boys in June of this year and it was probably the most restful, nurturing place I've ever stayed in. I cannot imagine any place safer or more inviting. I felt welcome, protected and cared for.
If you've ever doubted that there is hope in this world then visit St Joseph's. You will be glad you did.

I think Michael Gellenfeld is doing a great job. St. Joseph's Home for Boys is a great place for the boys and for anybody who wants to have a great vacation. I was one of those boys. Michael helped me a lot. I would encourage anybody to stay there. It would help those boys a lot. I would like to thank anybody who stay there. God bless you all.
