Fabulous service, fantastic atmosphere, real value for your money. I absolutely loved it.

Agree with the comment "the food is ALWAYS great" Stayed during the summer and again in Oct. 2003. (Have been visiting regularly for the last 6 years) Thanks to a wonderful waiting staff, restaurant dining is always enjoyable. The rooms are comfortable - Haiti is just amazing and Cap Haitian has such history. Roi Christophe is part of that and has much to offer, whether business or pleasure traveller.

Beautiful oasis in a colonial setting. The food is excellent. Of all the hotels in Cap this is the oldest and best preserved. The service is superb. I stay there on a regular basis. Can't say enough about how peacful and enjoyable it is.

Hotel du roi Christophe was a favorite get away while we lived in Haiti. It was very relaxing to go for an evening meal on the veranda after a hot and hectic day. The food was excellent and reasonable for US standards. If you were lucky enough to get a table on the veranda you were able to enjoy the plush foilage and gentle breezes after a relentlessly hot day. We also have stayed overnight. While not elegant, the rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff was always friendly and helpful. I would return as a guest if in Haiti and needing lodging. I often miss the late evening meals at this hotel and the sounds of Haiti after dark.
