After reading reviews, we thought that the hotel may be nasty and were scared to leave our stuff out. We had stayed at royal decameron for most of our trip but budget made us go somewhere cheaper for the last week. It was nice to stay here to see the other side of Jamaica, when on an all inclusive resort, u tend to just stay on the resort. Toby's was a clean place to sleep n head out during the day. It had 2 small pools, the one by the restaurant could be cleaner. It wasn't that busy, a cpl ppl on the chairs at the pool n usually we were the only ones swimming. I had a blended fruit punch which was delicious from the pool bar. The restaurant food was edible but for the prices, its better to go eat on the street. Dead end bar had great jerk chicken and cheap red stripe. We stayed in Room #4, would have been nice to have had 2 double beds instead of 4 twins, we pushed them together. The front desk ladies were very pleasant. We left all of our stuff out in the room and had no problems with anything going missing. We had a deluxe room, so we had a mini fridge and iron. Our coffee maker came with no filters. We didn't have the room cleaned for one days and the floor was covered in ants from crumbs from our jamaican patties. We wiped up the floor and some bug spray took care of that. We never had a problem with ants again.

I stayed at Toby Resort my boyfriend and I for 8 days and had the best time. Brett our server was the best in the world, the housekeeper Mr. Kiddy was also the sweetest man. He always checked to make sure everything was ok and just made the stay very relaxing and enjoyable. The grounds were clean and very safe. Our room was kept clean everyday and the size of the room was perfect with the accent being the large patio, which we loved. The pool bar staff and front desk staff were also very friendly. The food was great in our opinon loved the french toast. The resort is at the end of the hip strip out of the way from the hustle and bustle but close enough to everything that was going on. I would definatley recommend this resort. Toby's we loved your hotel and staff and will be back for sure next April. Katonya and Kirby

I stayed here one night during my Jamaica visit. This hotel is closer to motel status. It is good for budget accomodations. The food at the restaurant was edible, but not memorable. The hotel staff were friendly enough. The rooms were O.K., the window unit AC worked well. I would stay here again if I was not planning on spending much time at the hotel. The rooms should be updated.

A nice enough budget choice for one night. We wouldn't normally choose to stay in Montego Bay but we needed to be close to the airport for our last night and had a problem with our accommodation in Falmouth (Time n' Place)

The rooms are standard and comfortable and clean and there are 2 pools and an OK restaurant.

We'd stay there again if we needed to spend a night in Mobay.
