My husband and I just visited Coyaba River Gardens and we highly recommend the trip. We went on an informative guided tour of the gardens which took about one hour to complete. The gardens consist of many local and imported plants, a small museum and gift shop. This is a must see - simply Heavenly!

I have visited Dunn's River and YS Falls while in Jamaica and they were wondeful experiences. Yet none compares to the family outing I had with my family at Coyaba Garden and climbing the Mahoe Falls. We had a personal tour guide through a lush, beautiful botanical garden then up a stunning and fun to climb water fall. No human chain or slippery rocks. It was the most memorable experience for me while visiting Jamaica. Remember to take your swim wear.

When asked recently where I thought the prettiest place I had ever been was located...I had to say it was Coyaba River Garden in Ocho Rios, JA.
I remember the wonderful sound of running water from the river throughout and the great variety of beautiful tropical flowers growing abundantly. A place of great peace and beauty that one wished you never had to leave.
The owner, Simon, had great vision when he created this garden.
I plan on visiting there again next trip to Jamaica.
