We stayed at Negril Gardens from 12/26 to 1/9 and just loved it. Mr Gordon does a great job with his staff who work as a team. We plan to return next year. We have made friends with the staff and other guests who return during the Christmas holidays. New Year's Eve is an especially fun time. The resort is relaxing and the food is great. The beach is just beautiful and the sunsets are spectacular. What a great vacation!

we left maine on a snowy sunday morning, freezing and dreading the traveling. The trip was even worse than we expected, traveling stinks! when we got to jamaica everything changed, the weather was perfect and we were off to negril gardens. Once there it was awesome, the staff, the people and the beach was perfect. Vantastic. Not one bad thing I can think of. We met great people, partied and enjoyed ourselves every second.

Ok....me and my two buddies from college stayed @ this resort. The food was good...drinks were good...but the place was dead. the place is advertised as 70 rooms...but its really 60...and if 30 were full...thats pushing it. The sunsets were BREATH TAKING!!!! Dont go off the resort if you dont want to be HARRASSED by local jamaicans. These locals..1 in 10 were cool...others were just so poor and NEVER STOPED asking for money....7 nights of beggers in your face is 7 night too many if you ask me. I have a girlfriend now who i love very much....I was single when i went there and she asked me a few times if I was able to meet anyone or hook up in jamaica...i told her...THERE WAS NOONE TO HOOK UP WITH!!!! its not that it was a bunch of old people...its that NOONE WAS THERE!!! We met a few girls from the states....im from NYC....but once these Jamaican men see a girl whos not black...they attack like flies to dog crap!!! Single ladies I recomend going there if you like to be pulled in 100 different direction by beastly looking men..and single guys i recomend going there if you like disease infested hookers and beggers in your face 24/7. If you like a DO NOTHING resoort where all you can do is watch grass grow and the sunset...go to negril gardens...if you have a pulse...DONT! I will say....the staff was excellent...friendly...and VERY VERY VERY accomodating...drinks were excellent and so was the food. I would go back to jamaica in a heart beat...but i would stay at a bigger resort that doesnt have teh beach open to the locals. And lets not forget...the one time i told a local to leave me alone...that i didnt have any money on me...he chased me on the beach with a knife. But the Jamaican police were nice guys!!!
