This resort was terrible. The service was horrible. They were always running out of food, the bathrooms (prude side) were dirty (stained with mold, mildew). The water sports employees never wanted to take customers out on the water; they were constantly saying it was too windy and the waves were to high; however this was not the case, instead they were too busy drinking alcohol. They treated the black visitors with no respect but would bend over backwards for a white person.

Grand Lido Braco has always been a favorite destination and this year it has improved. The grounds were very well kept and the room had no problems at all. The improvements with the bar staff around the pool and the buffet each day was noticeable. There was no reason to pack up from around the pool each day to try a different restaurant since the variety of the food at the poolside lunch buffet was so varied. The entertainment staff under the direction of Velicea is still outstanding and make the visit an enjoyable one. We were at the resort for 18 days and never felt like we were bored. A truly relaxing experience. One of the issues in the past were the bugs (sand gnats) but they were minimized since the resort sprayed each day. There appeared to be very few instances of any problems.

We stayed at grand lido braco in aug 2007 we booked 10 days at the prued side but only spent 1 night on that side after seeing how nice the au natural side was we asked if we could move and did just that for a price, but it was worth it. we had the best time on that side people were more friendly and staff more attentive only complaint is that we never recieved our teeshirts that we had won tickets to get. the food was great and massages wonderful very very clean on the au natural side. never had gone natural before but wish we had dicovered it years ago. the most relaxed i've been.

In April my husband and I stayed at Grand Lido Braco for a week. When we arrived, we were greeted by the friendly hotel staff with a rum punch while we proceeded to check-in. We were then shown to our spacious room where got settled in.

Our highlights for the week were laying on the beautiful beach and relaxing while staff waited on us to see if we had any needs. We also spent time by the pool meeting other travelers and playing games that the entertainment staff offered. We indulged daily in the wonderful food that was offered. We especially liked the romantic setting of the French restaurant and the fun atmosphere of the Japanese restaurant. Both places had food that was exquisite. The beach party and street party both offered delicious morsels that melted in our mouth. With all the delicious food, we were happy to work-out each morning in the very well-equipped fitness facility.

Other activities that we enjoyed during the week were the beautiful sunsets, karaoke, complimentary manicure and pedicure, and nightly dancing. My husband and I were not ready to go home at the end of the week, as everything from the service to quality of our stay was top-notch. We immediately booked the resort for the following year! If you're looking for a relaxing place to stay with excellent food and a friendly staff, Grand Lido Braco is the place for you.
