Have just returned from 3 weeks in St Lucia and dived with Scuba Steve's while we were staying at Windjammer Landing resort.

We rang Steve when we arrived, popped over to the dive centre in Rodney Bay that afternoon and from what we saw and the friendliness of the staff immediately signed up for some quality diving.

Steve and Shirley are very professional and wonderfully friendly and all their staff are great fun and make the diving really enjoyable. Safety and quality of kit I hired was impeccable and my husband completed a Rescue Diver course which he thoroughly enjoyed and found really beneficial.

We will definately be returning to Scuba Steves and can recommend to anyone. Goes without saying also that the sites visited were many, varied and superb esp down by Anse Cochon and the Pitons. Great caribbean diving..!

I found Steve and Shirley and their staff to be helpful, entertaining, and very professional. Perhaps the best vote of confidence I can give them is that having completed the Open Water Diver course with them, I will continue on to the Advanced with Steve's.

“Professional, Friendly well organised dive centre”

We found Scuba Steves on the internet and booked based on the reviews that were on the web site which have all proven to be accurate.

Scuba Steve's has been up and running for 18 months, Husband and wife team of Steve and Shirley a prefessionally trained and licenced boat Captain, Kerney, and Dive Centre manager TIm, All three dive with customers.

Decent boat, well equipped with 2x 150HP engines - this is an important note as much of the diving is down in the marine park so a decent and fast boat is essential.

Enquiry response was superb, our enquiry to dive was responded to within 24 hours and we were booked well inadvance of our trip. Transport to and from our Hotel as by airconditioned bus and was prompt every time we dived.

Kit: We took our own - but their's is mainly scuba pro, well maintained and regulalry serviced on site by the team. Fully geared for Nitrox diving and all bottles are blended on site - Steve is the only pressure blender on the Island.

There were a number of other dive centres on the Island but on talking to divers who had tried some of them out they came up lacking - disorganised and sometimes did not have enough kit. Safety being absolutely key I would strongly recommend Scuba Steve's based on our experience.

Let down by the hotel - see review on Almond Beach Resort

“Holiday of a Lifetime”

My husband, Mike, and I were in St Lucia in May/June 2007 to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary. I did my Open Water diving in the UK beforehand because I wanted to see the marine life and reefs on holiday. Having done my open water dives in a quarry in the UK the Caribbean was a real eye opener in every sense of the word. I researched the local scuba centres over the internet before we went and contacted Scuba Steve's by phone when we got there. I asked if it would be possible to do my Advanced course whilst I was there and was pleased when they assured me it was no problem. Both Steve and Shirley arranged everything to fit in with our other holiday plans(since Mike had to spend the days on his own when I was diving).I explained that this was my first time diving from a boat, diving in the ocean and with borrowed equipment. I was made to feel totally safe and the professionalism of the whole team made my 6 dives unforgetable. Mike and I did the Dive and Drive which was great value for money and a brilliant day out.
I would recommend Scuba Steve's to anyone who dives or wants to learn when visiting St Lucia.
