Village Cay is located directly on the harbor and caters to the sailing crowd. There is a big marina that uses the hotel place to get cleaned up! The rooms are old, but clean and tidy. But who goes to the BVI to hang out in the room! Great bar and resturant to sit and watch the sunset. Pool small but still OK. Short walk into downtown Roadtown. Reasonable rates (for the BVI).

The room was dark and dirty. Every electrical item in the room was plugged into one power strip...the mini-fridge, the T.V., the coffee maker, the lamp, and the A/C. It was the only outlet in the room, so if you needed to plug in a phone charger or laptop, you needed to unplug something else.
The stand-up shower had mildewed curtains that blew about the bathroom while showering. The one lightbulb in the bathroom is over the shower as opposed to over the sink, so if you need to put in contact lenses, bring them down to the pool where you can see enough to put them in.
Fot the price, it was one of the worst places I've ever stayed.

After island hopping and hitting the beach for the first few days, we met our daughter in RoadTown after her first ocean sailing race. Accomodations were wonderful. We had a waterfront room that was much better than expected. We had a sitting area overlooking the marina as well as a separate balcony overlooking the pool. Great spot. Only negative was the time it took for service in the restaurant. They seemed to be understaffed or was it just the laidback island time?? Next time I'm in Tortola, I'll definitely book my room for a little R&R.

This is a very nice hotel. The rooms are very, very clean and our one bedroom suite was spacious with a lovely view. The pool is small; but pretty. The restaurant/bar is excellent and Sunday brunch was very good.

We stayed at Village Cay for one night prior to boarding our charter boat. We had three rooms which were very clean but need updating. However, this hotel is very convenient to marina, so are planning to stay one night again in June,2005. Price is right also. Pool is very small. Restaurant is excellent.
