“WOW..!!!!”

Mount Nevis Hotel and Beach Club

5 of 5 stars
Orlando FL

THIS PLACE WAS AMAZING ... a bit out of the way and somewhat remote from the beach but lovely and quiet and the staff could not have been more accommodating. I enjoyed talking with the owners, Dr. Meguid (a onetime United Nations representative from Egypt) and his wife, who were quite charming and entertaining. The food was excellent and I look forward to passing that way again ...SOON!
Sincerely,

“At Home in Paradise”

Mount Nevis Hotel and Beach Club

My husband and I went to Nevis with our 'almost 4' year old son and had a wonderful time. The hotel was just beautiful and the staff could not be more pleasant and accomodating. We were lucky enough to have stayed for 10 long days and were still sad to be leaving. The resort has breathtaking views and on our first morning, we awoke to a double rainbow over St. Kitts. That was pretty much how our entire vacation was....just beautiful.

The resort has all the comforts of home, our suite had a full kitchen, DVD and VCR, and a rather large terrace. Everyone gives you a warm and welcoming greeting each day, including Dr. Meguid, the owner.

The food in their al fresco restaurant is fabulous with a different menu each day.

The pool is large and has crystal clear FRESH water, which is a welcome change to chlorenated waters or salty ocean waters.

The hotel has transportation to two nearby beaches and runs a nice bar-restaurant (Pizza Beach) with many things to choose from; Everything we had was great.

The only thing that took some getting used to was driving. The cars are right side drive and you travel on the left side of the road.

We had such a wonderful time and, if we ever find our way back to Nevis, we will most definitely stay at the Mount Nevis Hotel.

“Best Anniversary celebration ever!”

We wanted an unforgetable expirience for my parents 50th wedding anniversary and Mount Nevis Hotel was the perfect setting. Our family is big, all together we were 14 adults and 7 children ranging from 16 to 8 years old. Mount Nevis Hotel not only provided excellent accomodations, great food and magnifecent vistas, but a heartwarming staff willing to please and help in anyway possible.

The Hotel is run by the Menguis family and since the very begining they were extremely helpful, even before we got there. We wanted a special dinner celebration for our parents, and were connected with the hotel chef to select a special menu for the ocassion. having such a wide range of ages and tastes, the Chef made sure to provide an exquisit variety of dishes and a case of Dom Perignnon was flown in specially for us, and! What can I say, we LOVE champagene!!!! Not only was the dinner delicious, but an anniversary Cake and decorations were provided as well with a golden Happy Anniversary banner and balloons. The hotel played a special CD collection of old boleros that we provided without a glitch and my parents said it was the best anniversay ever.

The accomadotions at the hotel are very well taken care of. Large rooms with high wood ceilings, small kitchen and a nice avarage bathroom. Everything was clean, which is very important to us. There is a nice pool that can be used for laps, and recreation, and the state is very well groomed. It is not beach front, but the hotel will provide a shuttle that takes you to a nearsite beach. We actually walked to the beach a couple of times, although it can be a 25 minutes walk and some people might not want to.

The staff was very friendly and understanding. They were very patient in the mornings when we started driping slowly into breakfast. Some of us very early, some of us at the last minute before the kitchen closed. They ran out of caffeineted coffee on the day before last, which drove one of my sisters out of commission, but it was understandable as Nevis has to import most of what it consumes.

All in all we recommend the Mount Nevis Hotel, and will be looking to repeat our wonderful vacation.

“Wonderful hotel”

Mount Nevis Hotel and Beach Club

We really enjoyed our stay at the Mt. Nevis Hotel.
It was very clean, a large and lovely suite including kitchen and a nice patio with great view; the grounds are very pretty; the staff are wonderful; food excellent; nice bar; easy to reach from Nevis Airport; very quiet. An all-round excellent place to stay. It is not on a beach and would advise that you'd need a car to get to beaches, shops, restaurants, etc. - unless you'd like to just stay at hotel and chill ("lime" in Nevisian). You can take quiet walks from there as well and may even see some monkeys.

“quiet and relaxing”

Mount Nevis Hotel and Beach Club

Mar 23, 2008

If you are looking for a small, quiet, relaxing hotel with good food and friendly staff this place is for you.The hotel is family owned and the staff is very accomodating to your needs. The hotel though not right on the beach has a breathtaking view ,and the hotel will give you complimentary transportation to the beach nearby.
If you are looking for a place that provides it's own entertainment and amenities(though they do have a small workout room)this is not for you,but if you want total relaxation and welcome a slow pace for enjoying life and nature you will find it here.
