“A Fabulous Retreat!”

Villa Renaissance

We began traveling to Provo about eight years ago with our two small children. We have since stayed at Villa Renaissance 4 times (and our children aren't so small anymore)! What can I say, we love Villa Renaissance! It has a very private, "homey" feel. When we travel, we don't like to fight crowds, we like our space, and we don't want to fight for a spot at the beach or pool. It is not a large resort, and does not offer some of the ammeneties that you may find elsewhere, however you are practically guaranteed your own private beach!

The front desk staff makes you feel right at home - we love Shereen, Junior and Calvin! They always do their best to make sure you have a great stay. Housekeeping is effecient and friendly too.

The units we have stayed in are large, beautifully decorated and have the most spectacular views of Grace Bay!

The central location can't be beat, and although the property does not have an on-site restaurant, there are serveral good restaurants within walking distance. You can also stock up on groceries at the local IGA. We really enjoy the food on the island with Coco Bistro being one of our favorite spots!

Villa Renaissance also has a nice spa on the property.

If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful get-away this is the place!

“Great getaway!”

A fantastic vacation.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by Shereen, a friendly, helpful, caring hostess. Calvin was also great in making dinner reservations and arranging taxis.
All of the staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful.

A basket of fresh fruit, wine and chilled bottled water was waiting for us when we entered our room. The room was luxurious.. we had a fantastic view of the beautiful garden and pool from our balcony.

John, the barkeep, was friendly and we enjoyed talking to him. He brought our drinks to us at pool side with just a hand signal. He also brought chilled water to any hotel guest at the beach.. every day at noon.

There were many great restaurants nearby. Coco Bistro a favorite.

Turks/Caicos is one of the most beautiful islands we have been to in the Caribbean. We will surely visit the Villa Renaissance again in the near future.

VR is a fabulous find! I've travelled to many islands and Provo was by far one of the best experiences. VR was clean, the staff was friendly and everything was simply perfect. We went to the local IGA to buy some food and we made dinner several nights which really made it a home away from home. We did dine at Coco Bistro, Hemingways and Coyaba - Coco Bistro was our favorite. Danny Boy's is also a great lunch spot and across the street from the hotel. The beach was immaculate and the pool was always clean and glistening. I'm already planning my next trip. I can't wait to go back!!

“Viva Villa Renaissance !!!!!”

If you want to be waited on "hand and foot" then The VR may not be for you. That said, whenever we needed something the response was prompt and the housekeeping service was great. If you don't absolutely love this place then you have some serious issues - get over yourself !

The island, the beach, the small intimate feel of the property - everything about it is wonderful. We walked the entire 12 mile Grace Bay beach and the VR beach was second to none.

A few tips;

Rent a car;
- There is a lot to see on the isand and it's the best way to get around. "Must sees" include Sapodilla Bay and Chalk Sound.

Restaurants'
- Stay away from the (2) co-owned Sushi places. Easily the worst sushi that I've ever had (the rice was the issue, not the fish)
- Bella Luna (Italian) is a quick walk from the VR and it was surprisingly good
- Iguana (Steak and Seafood) served up a great lunch.
- Tikki Hut and Aqua were just okay in our opinion.

We will be back......again and again and again. Thank you for a great vacation Provo and VR !

“Great Vacation”

Villa Renaissance

I visited the Villa Renaissance with my fiance, my mom & her boyfriend, and my little brother & his girlfriend (he's not very little, about 18). We all greatly enjoyed our stay. The staff at the hotel was very friendly and accommodating. Check-in and check-out was a breeze, we got rum punch as we waited! One of our rooms was not ready yet, so we put all our stuff in the other room while we waited. They told us it was just the dishwasher running and we could go in if we liked, but we just decided to wait.
They made all of our dinner reservations for us, and suggested some of the best restaurants on the island. The maids folded our clothes, straightened up our "bathroom products", and turned down our bed and left chocolates there daily. Of course - Grace Bay beach is beautiful, but you get the perk of grace bay beach almost anywhere you stay in Provo. Their pool was a little chilly, because of no heater, but if your brave enough to jump in, you warm up after a while, or you can go next door, which is related somehow to Villa Renaissance and use their hot tub, very warm!
The spa was great, and rooms were spacious, and even though we didn't have an ocean view room, it was still a very nice view of the pool. But after reading some of the negative comments about the service in the Turks & Caicos, not specifically at this hotel, but in general, I was very impressed by all of the service that we recieved, at many of the hotels we visited while we were there. Yes, dinner will take 2 hours or more, just sit back and enjoy!
