Our stay at Hotel Luna has always been a wonderful adventure. Owners Alberto & Karla are the most accomodating couple. The Hotel is small (three rooms) but very nice. This always makes our stay at Hotel Luna seem special because Alberto & Karla put the extra TLC in to making the room very comfortable.

The location of Hotel Luna makes our day & evening travels into town (on foot) very easy since they are about three to four blocks from the city square. There you can find almost anything you can imagine to do from eating wonderful food, drinking whatever your pleasure may be or just strolling thru the shopping areas and purchasing some very interesting fun items. The Harbor, Malecon or beach areas are also within walking distance from Hotel Luna. So if you want a different change of pace from town then about one block from Luna and you are on the Sea of Cortez with just as many interesting places to visit.

One of our favorite past times is to visit the rooftop Palapa Bar at Hotel Luna and just sit and visit with Alberto & Karla. They have refreshing drinks, wonderful music, flat screen TV and great complimentary chips & homemade salsa.

Last but not least we can't forget to mention Angus. He is their wonderful dog. He is a very friendly fellow and smart. He seems to know which travelers are staying at Hotel Luna and he watches over everything that goes on there. Luna is a very feel safe place to stay!

Finally to those of you who have ever stayed at Hotel Luna or will have the pleasure of staying sometime will feel the same emotions that we feel. When we arrive for our stay at Hotel Luna we feel that we are seeing not just the owners of Hotel Luna again but good friends. Upon leaving we do not say good bye because we know that we will return and our visit at Hotel Luna in Loreto will be just as pleasurable as the last!!

The hotel Luna is very conveniently located, next to the mission and to the centre of Loreto and next to the beach and marina.
What made our stay most enjoyable was definitely the kindness of our hosts, Alberto and Karla.
The rooms are nice and modern, very clean, and Alberto's frozen margarita has been rated number one of the ones we tried during our 3 weeks trip in Baja.
We now feel like having friends in Loreto!

Our charming and helpful hosts, Alberto and Karla, made this a wonderful stay. The three bright white rooms, modern, clean and quiet, are nicely decorated in a spare, euro-style. We didn't need the air-conditioning, but were happy to see it's available.

A relaxed al fresco bar on the roof was just right for an after dinner drink. The Luna is close to everything in town, and would be a great choice for kayakers and those heading out from the marina for day-tripping to nearby islands. The hosts speak Spanish, Italian and English (and almost certainly other languages as well), making it possible for our language-challenged party to get by quite well. A great value; we're sure to stay there again.

Because our travel plans to Loreto changed at the last minute we were
left struggling to find accommodation. One hotel that was booked told
us to call the Hotel Luna, it is a new hotel in town and may have room for us they said. I'm so glad we followed that advice. The Luna is a small newly constructed hotel in a good location between the waterfront (1 min walk) and the town square (3 min walk). The owners Alberto and Karla (Swiss and Mexican) are two of the nicest and most attentive hosts you could wish to meet (they have obviously poured their hearts into this project). The hotel has three beautiful rooms tastefully decorated in a very modern style. The Bar Eclipse upstairs
is a nice quite place to enjoy a drink and was never a problem with noise etc for us downstairs. There is a very good restaurant next door to add to the convenience as well. We would definetely stay there again.
