This hotel was one of the nicest in the area, the staff was wonderful, they all worked with us, thou we spoke very little spanish. We were there durring a slower season, thus the staff was down sized, but they attemped to keep the grounds clean, but they cleaned the place like a man would, not like my wife would, thus she noticed that.. the view was amazing, everywhere you looked it was beautiful. The recommendation for you at this location is this.. it would be a GREAT convention site, or instruction site, they even have a building for a convention to be head there.. but everything is a distance, thus taxis thou cheap can add up, so rent a car, or figure to stay close to the hotel. the waterfall cost is like $3us, and you have santigo (a near by town) to eat at.. pss go itailian.. they also have a free market where you can buy furniture really cheap.. or gift items.. have fun while you are there.

What a beautiful Resort nesteled into the Mexico mountain side. Easy to find, just stay south on highway 85 out of Monterrey, through a few small villages and you will see the sign that will take you up the mountain to the Hotel Hacienda. The staff speak very little English so prepare yourself in advance if you know no Spanish. One of the staff members, Pedro, speaks very good English, You can ask for him by name, he lives right on the resort. The Prices of the Hotel rooms are very resonable for the 5 star quality of the resort. There is a wonderful resturaunt with breath taking views of the valleys and mountains. Two swimming pools beautifully landscaped. The $99.00 rooms have two queen size beds and a balcony that overlooks the mountains and valleys. The Master Suites have a private balcony that only you and your guest can see from or be seen on. The room has a King size bed in the main room with a fold out couch in the front room along with a fridge, sink, and a microwave. By the full glass wall there is a large jacuzzie that looks out the glass wall over the valleys and mountains. Room service is provided for all guest. Above the Resturaunt there is a lounge that serves food and drinks and also provides and outside sitting area where you can take in the beauty of the land as well as watch the bungee jumpers jump from the mountain side. There are horseback rides to majestic waterfalls. All in all this was a wounderful weekend for our family at a reasonable rate. Wonderful, Wonderful Resort.
