“Cockroach hotel”

El Presidente Acapulco

My husband and I went to this hotel with another couple. This was the first time ever I encountered a massive amount of cockroaches. I am well aware that they exist in these countries. They gathered under our bed , the hotel fumigated our room twice but to no avail they wouldnt leave. Our friends room was also festered. One night the other couple came into our room because they couldnt stand the snapping of the little creatures, we had our husbands stay up to keep watch. I think I would of had more of a vacation staying home than at this place. If you can handle the cockroaches then your ok.

“Excellent Experience”

El Presidente Acapulco

A few summers ago, I visited Acapulco with a school group. We stayed in the El Presidente and I had a pleasant experience. The air conditioner worked great in our room, the pool was nice and clean, and the view was excellent. I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone. I guess when you are curteous and show respect, the favor is returned.

“The worst”

We have been going to Acapulco for 15 years. In fact we own time share in Acapulco. We love the weather and the convenience of the beach and the city all rolled into one. But this hotel was the worst by far. We were put into El Presidente due to legal battles with the time share we own. The Presidente was renovating and the noise was unbearable, banging on pipes and knocking down walls until 1 am. We were given a suite on the top floor and there was no balcony, just a view of the other hotel which was 200 feet away Since they were renovating, the stairway way was not available (a real fire death trap) and the elevator took at least 25 minutes to come to our floor. Our bathroom had a picture window and the blinds were not big enough to cover the whole window. The chairs around the pool were all broken and only one tree for shade. I would definitely not recomend this hotel to anyone

“Just don't go there”

I was going to stay at my Neices home in Acapulco, but unfortunately the plumbers did not have it ready so I decided to stay at the El Presidente Hotel in Acapulco. This was a bad mistake. The Air Conditioning in the room was not working properly and made a terrible noise. So bad that it was hard for me to sleep. We could not go swimming in the Hotel Pool because Management decided to drain it. The Hotel Restaurant serves terrible food. So bad that everyone that ate there complained to the Management about it. Then the sewer system backed up in the Hotel and everyone left. It was awful. We ended up going to the Princess Hotel which was a great experiance. I will never go back to the El Presidente in Acapulco.

“By far...the worst hotel!!!”

This was by far the worst hotel I've ever seen. This was supposed to be a 5 star hotel. In fact after seeing the room we decided to pay the first night but go next door to the Fiesta Inn. The bedpread was stained, there were no towels or toilet paper, the bed sunk inward. EVERYTHING about this place was aweful!!! I don't think they have remodeled their rooms since they opened... As I was [processing my check out I made sure that these comments were noted and the front desk receptionist was in total agreement with me.
