Don't waste you time and stay anywhere else! Every other hotel just doesn't have the view of this hotel. we were so fortunate to get a corner room. They appologized profusely as we checked in and said they would move us the next day. WHY? I thought because it was the 3rd floor? Once we got in the room I did not want to leave! The 3rd floor is like the 7th. Even the first floor is quite a few floors above the sand. Having both windows open, with the breeze blowing by. Heaven. And was it ever hot in Feb. 92 degrees and humid. AAA reccomends this place, and it's one of very few. ALOT of doggone nasty hotels here. most hotels on the strip are run down, or up on a cliff away from anything. I will post the killer view we had, and if you stay somewhere else, you have no one but yourself to blame.

“Regular hotel, friendly staff”

Fiesta Inn Acapulco

The staff was friendly, the room clean and convenient. I found the swimmimg pool a little bit small. New buildings are in construction on both sides of the hotel but you should have a partial sea view though. The hotel location is convenient, just a few steps to restaurants and bars, but it can get noisy, our room was at the 9th floor and we could still hear the noise down in the strip. The parking fee was 50 Pesos daily (valet parking, parking lot a few blocks away), even when we called from the room to ask for our car 15 minutes before getting down, we still had to wait for the valet to bring it...
In conclusion, I think this hotel is correct without specific hassle but nothing exceptional. Personally I prefer the Hyatt just a few blocks away, I think the pool and the beach are much better, but it is maybe a little bit more expensive.

“Second trip to Fiesta Inn and we'll be back next year!”

I stayed in the Fiesta Inn for the second time from March 12-19 2007. I was definatly not dissapointed. The hotel is clean, quiet, and well maintained. The staff was polite and even though they didn't all speak english, I didn't really expect them to seeing as English is NOT the offical language in Mexico. Even when there were language barriers the staff made every effort to communicate with us and help us with whatever we needed. I found the a.c. worked really well and our only complaint with the room was that the first day we were there our toilet wouldn't flush and we didn't have hot water and both problems were very quickly. I only got room service one, but I found that the portions were large and the food was really good (espically because I ordered it at 1 in the morning). The pools were nice, but I do agree with previous reviews that it would be nice if one pool was only for adults, but with all the beautiful beach around, who wants to be at the pool anyway?? The location is PRIME and is walking distance to great shopping, resturants, bars, and beach spots. The rooms were a nice escape from the loud night life even though the hotel is right in the middle of all the action. It might not be the fanciest hotel in Acapulco, but it was simple, safe, clean, comfortable, and innexpensive. I'd reccomend this hotel to almost anyone and I can't wait to return.

“Quite a nice hotel”

Rooms are large and well furnished. Ask for a corner room and you'll get an incredible view over the bay of Acapulco. Air conditioning is noisy, but the room is staying quite cool despite the outside temperature of 35 (high nineties)

We eat out mostly, so can't say what the food is like. this is Easter week, and it's pretty full, so not many sunbeds available and the two pools are very crowded, but outside of peak periods I'm sure it's fine. Not sure if this is always the case, but the beach looks pretty dangerous around here, and the red flag is flying. Not a beach for children or the faint at heart . .

We stayed at the fiesta inn from March 7 -- March 12, 2007. The rooms
were not very clean. The food from the hotel was not good either. Luckily we found Mangos just down the street. The reception area didnt have american speaking individuals therefore not many could help you in a crisis situation. My overall experience at this hotel is rated a 1.
