The Qunita Real is a lovely hotel; private and perfect for a romantic getaway. We stayed there for two nights in 2002. Our room had original Mexican artwork, hand-carved leather chair, beautiful marble bathroom and a gorgeous ocean view with balcony (and we did not get the most expensive room). It was meticulously clean . The food was good as was room service, and the staff attentive but not obtrusive. They greeted us with complimentary champagne as we checked in. The hotel's private beach is kind of small, but they have a pool just feet away from the ocean that's very nice (there are better beaches at the Pierre Marques hotel just down the road, if that's what you want). But if you are looking for a quality hotel that is not mobbed with American tourists, the Quinta Real is an outstanding choice. The place was restful and gorgeous. I would definitely go back.
