Business serviceMy husband and I stayed at the Casa Inn Acapulco for the last night of our honeymoon. It sure made us ready to go home. It was a miserable night. First off, we were told we could check in at 12:00 noon, both from Hotels.com, Casa Inn and we verified it by phone. Well we had to store our luggage for about 2 hours, due to teh fact we had to check out of our previous resort by 10:00. We walked around for the two hours until it was time to check in, well our room wasn't ready at noon, we continued to walk around for another hour and our room was still not ready. Finally we just gave up and sat in the lobby until we were able to check in at nearly 2:00. The front desk staff was not as friendly as we would have hoped for them to be. They also did not speak as much english as we needed to be able to clearly understand them. Once we finally got to the room, it smelled musty and damp. The beds were literally as soft as the marble floors! The air conditioning was freezing cold and there were no blankets on the beds, only sheets. Our room overlooked the pool, which also overlooks the busy city streets. The walls were paper thin and we could hear the people in the next room talking, and they weren't talking loudly. We did go to a decent restaraunt across the street called Jimmy's. The food and service were good. And it wasn't exprensive at all, 180 pesos for two people. My husband and I did not sleep well at all that night, due to the ridicoulsly hard bed, the freezing cold room, the city traffic that didn't stop until nearly 3 am and the screaming baby two doors down. We did appreciate the free internet service that was provided, until we had to wait for almost an hour to use it as several children conitnued to monopolize it forever. The office room was also very dirty, littered with cigarette butts and sticky ice cream sticks and wrappers everywhere. We enjoyed our stay in Acapuloc and did not want to leave at all, until we stayed at the Casa Inn and then we were begging to go home. We payed only $58 a night for this hotel and I guess the saying, YOu get what you pay for is true.

Business serviceDuring this spring break, my family and I went to Acapulco and stayed in Casa Inn. My experience in Casa Inn was pretty pleasant. The room was fine and with 2 full size beds. The people working in front desk were pretty helpful. You can use 2 computers inside the internet center room to check e-mail for free. The location of the hotel is excellent especially it is next to Walmart supercenter. We purchased milk, cereal, muffins for our breakfast. We also purchased bottle water and fruit at Walmart for our daily use. You can take local bus (air conditioned) across the street for $5.50 peso and go to the major tourist attractions. It is also near a bank and get a better rate to exchange your currency at the bank. If I go to Acapulco again, I will stay in Casa Inn again.
If you need to visit any place in Acapulco, you are better to check with the front desk for direction as outside the hotel, there are not that many people speaking English. If you want to go any place by
taxi, ask the front desk how much you should pay. In Acapulco, taxi has no meter and the price is negotiable. Remember to bring a lot of dollar bills. They are good for tipping.

Business serviceI work in Acapulco for spring break and ask specifically to stay at the Casa Inn. The hotel staff and owners treat you like you are family, rooms are clean and very spacious, and a great complimentray breakfast buffet is served each morning. If you are lucky enough to get a room on the western side of the building there is an amazing view of the ocean and the entire bay. The location is ideal with most everything you can do in Acapulco a short cab ride away.
The person who wrote the negative review is obviously did not recognize the fact that the hotel has two sides, one that does not face the pool. Though it is true that the hotel does accomodate to spring breakers(March) just like most every other budget hotel in the resort area.
Acapluco was my real first winter break, it was 2002 but i still remember it, me and my girlfiend booked through alabtours, i cant forget the feeling when we arrived, it was so hot, unbelivable for dec 10th, we had nice time and the hotel was quite good. we have even visited the rocheta island and i remember we saw a statue of the virgin of guadalupe placed underwater: there's even an holiday dedicated to her (i think it's on dec 12th ). we've tried some watersports and even bought some nice souvenirs. i remember u can take a bus for 3 pesos per person (about 50 cents), taxi is expensive. We were close to a Wal Mart so we ve bought there everything we needed. the main street close to the beach is called Costera Miguel Aleman and it's a safe place to walk even during nights.. there are a few disco's too. We went to the famous "La perla" resturant where we have even enjoyed the cliff diving show! hotel staff is friendly and they try to help you. Before book cruises or buy everything else i suggest to look around..u can get the same things for half price.
i prefer the white sands to the yellow ones, anyway u have a long beach to walk and relax ;)
