I would NOT recommend this hotel at all. It was filthy and uncomfortable. Not very nice to stay on the 22nd floor and the staff was rude and unfriendly and harldy spoke English (not the ones we dealt with anyway) We were told at check in that there is no safe on the room. Well, once we finally got up to the room (waiting for the lift took ages) we discovered that yes there was a safe but no key. We also had no remote control for the TV. Back down to the reception again, no they won't help us we had to go to some kind of utility office and queue up there and PAY DEPOSIT for the remote and key to safe. Strange. There was also other things lacking from the room, we had no information book about opening hours and what facilities there are. The kitchenette was also not fully equipped, we had to buy a knife and mugs from walmart so we could at least have a basic breakfast. The main pool was infested with kids so that was a no-go. The sunchairs were filthy, wonder when they were cleaned last time?? BEWARE of the men loitering outside the hotel shouting inappropriate comments. Be also aware of the "tourist office" inside the hotel, nect to reception. The nasty lady in there is lying to get people to go to a time share presentation to Mayan resort. Decline and buy your boattrips and whatever from outside instead. You will save time and money. The aggressive and nasty time share people will waste all your day and will be very rude to you if you don't buy their over-priced "offers" If you don't sign up for a time-share contract they will try to refuse to give you your free boat trip. So, better off staying well out of it. We will never ever again go to Acapulco, we were so put off buy our experiences over all. A rip-off ugly place!
