My husband and I attended a wedding of close friends in October. We were refered here after their B&B was booked up. We absoluty loved it. Peaceful, relaxing and the perfect place to get away from it all. Yes, there are a lot of stairs but it was also great exercise! I have already recommended it to several friends and family!

If you're reading this review...you're considering a stay at Casa Mirador in Puerto Vallarta. We have visited Puerto Vallarta many times, but this trip was by far the best, due to our choice of Inns. Casa Mirador made our 10 year wedding anniversary trip to Puerto Vallarta perfect.

Casa Mirador's location, in Conchas Chinas, was great. Located a few minutes south of town, about a 2 minute cab ride, we felt as though we'd escaped into a peaceful getaway. We stayed in Vista de los Arcos and were amazed by the views -- simply stated, they are breath-taking. And of course, being right on the ocean, the sound of the waves constantly reminds you of how amazing this place is. The room itself is very comfortable and looks exactly like the photos online (---). The surrounding patio was an ongoing invitation for relaxing, reading and vegging out.

Marcella gave us wonderful suggestions of places to eat (our new favorite...Espresso) and things to do. She also arranged for our day trip to Yelapa...through a great excursion company. We were well taken care of and really enjoyed the adventure. Breakfasts at Casa Mirador were a delight as well...lots to choose from, great coffee too! And the day spa options...massage, pedicure, etc. are available right on-site. We indulged in these treats as well.

If you are unsure about where to stay or have not been to PV before, you should try a stay at Casa Mirador. In our past trips to PV we have stayed in large resorts and in various locations around town. This trip and Casa Mirador were by far, our favorite. You can't go wrong by staying here. It is a quiet and peaceful retreat from the hussle and bussle of home. And you are minutes from town if you're looking for a night out, shopping and eating at one of PV's fabulous restaurants.

Our trip planning was smooth thanks to the great communication from the reservations gal. We've made a new friend as she was willing to answer every last question with interest and enthusiasm. Our transfer picked us up at the airport upon our arrival and safely dropped us at Casa Mirador.

We will return to Casa Mirador, maybe not as soon as we'd like, but we will return -- we have to, we left a little piece of our hearts at Casa Mirador!!

Lovely B&B with lots of character and hospitable guests. Enjoyed the restaurant and especially the "happy hour" of the restaurant only a few steps away. Excellent beach for snorkeling, but watch for jelly-fish (they love to sting). Not a private get-away but certainly enjoyable. The only 2 drawbacks were the distance from PV and lots and lots of stairs for hauling your luggage (note to self: must learn to pack less). All in all a worthwhile vacation spot for a few days.

My husband and I celebrated our five year anniversary at the beautiful Casa Mirador B&B in Puerta Vallarta. I actually found Casa Mirador on Trip Advisor's site, and felt the reviews already posted indicated that this was a good place for us to stay. Little did I know that I had found a little bit of heaven on earth. If you are looking for serenity, beauty, good food, incredible service, well-kept accommodations, and convenient access to town, this is the place for you. We were there June 1-6, 2005, and it took me this long to write a review simply because I didn't want to share this little gem with the rest of the world. But I know it would be a disservice to Casa Mirador if I didn't.

The inn is set into a hillside, so the entire facility offers incredible views of the ocean. The first two days of our stay, we ate breakfast by the pool while watching dolphins swim in the bay. Marcela, the Inn's manager, is not only a wonderful host and tour guide, but she makes you feel right at home the moment you set foot in the gate. She is warm and personable, an incredible chef, and she is an indelible resource for dining, touring, and playing in Puerta Vallarta and the surrounding area.

I highly recommend Casa Mirador and can't wait to visit again. In fact, I have already told many friends about it, and my extended family is talking about renting the entire Inn to celebrate my parents' 50th wedding anniversary. So, if you decide to stay there, please sit awhile under the palapa by the pool, have a cold cerveza, and enjoy the peacefulness and beauty that is Casa Mirador.
