Just flew in less than 24 Hrs ago, Casa Amorita, was truley a paradise tucked away from all of the High Energy pace of daily routine at home & away from the main-stream of the local pace at beach resorts & the center of the beach front in puerto vallarta. The beauty of the casa was that, the breakfast was more than suficiant, presented elegently, & savory all in the same mouthful.Rita was more than acommodating with the better quality of recamendations of finer resturants, local things to do & see, without the headaches of you figuring it out by the end of your trip.I highly reccomend Casa Amorita if your honeymooning, traveling solo,or with a group of friends. I was fortunate to revisit the lovely Casa Amorita. My first stay was right after Rita opened her B and B over 10 years ago, and I was surprised and touched that she remembered me from so long and so many guests ago. I won't wait another 10 years to return!

Her attention to detail, from sending up a pot of coffee to me and my friends in the morning as we journaled and took in the beauty of the roof-top terrace, to steering us in the right direction for fabulous meals, to creating a beautiful restful refuge from the hustle and bustle of the city is what makes Casa Amorita a place to return to again and again. Now that I am retired, I will!!!

We returned from a 6 day stay at Casa Amorita more than a month ago and still can't stop thinking about it. Rita and her staff could not have been more friendly and accommodating. We were personally greeted by Rita upon arrival and all aspects of our accomodations were fully explained. On our last day we arrived at the airport to learn our flight had been cancelled! Not sure where to turn, we returned to Casa Amorita and were welcomed back with open arms (and breakfast) until our rescheduled evening flight. Now, that's accommodating!

The breakfasts were outrageously good - probably the best we've ever had. We are early risers and were offered a light breakfast if we wanted to start exploring early but didn't want to miss anything and always waited for the full spread. It was also a great time to exchange suggestions and experiences with the other guests.

The location of Casa Amorita is perfect. There are many restaurants, sights, and shopping nearby. There was no need to rent a car because so much is within walking distance. For more out of the way adventures, the local bus or a taxi work great. Rita's information book on restaurants and day trips was very helpful. Use it and you won't go wrong. We especially enjoyed Yelapa and Mismaloya. Both have a nice beach and very friendly locals.

We were a bit concerned about the cathedral bells after reading other reviews but were not bothered by them in the least. The location and hospitality at Casa Amorita far outweigh any minor distractions.

We highly recommend Casa Amorita and hope to return soon. We cannot think of any place we would rather stay!

We just returned from our trip to Casa Amorita. We loved it there! The bed and breakfast was beautiful and felt like home while we were there. The property is gated so you feel totally safe. Initially we loved that we could coordinate with Rita through emails and ask her lots of questions. She was more than helpful with everything we asked. Upon arriving we found the B & B to be beautiful and clean. The pool is very charming, as well as the mango and banana trees. They use the fresh fruit in the great breakfasts Rita makes! (The breakfasts were my favorite part!) Breakfasts are served at a particular time, but if you need to get out early Rita has homemade granola and yogurt, as well as other things. Our room had a great view of the ocean and Casa Amorita is close to the Malecon (the boardwalk there) and great restuarants. Rita was happy to give us menus, offer advice on restaurants, call in reservations, give us advice on taxi charges, etc. In addition to the beautiful patio by the pool, there is an area on the rooftop that has wonderful views! At the time we booked our trip there were only 2 nights available, so we stayed one other night in the Marriot Casa Magna. It was nice, but not near the charm, location, amazing breakfasts and definatley did not have RITA!!! I would go back again and again to Casa Amorita!

“Best Sunset Views”

Casa Amorita

A wonderful small hotel in a great hillside location less than a two minute walk to the El Centro district of P.V.
Extremely clean with a charming and very helpful owner and her very friendly staff. Many great restaraunts and bars within walking distance.
The hotel is the perfect location for viewing the sunset over the bay from a number of relaxing settings that may include lounging by the pool, sipping a drink at the rooftop bar, or in my case, a private balcony connected to my room.
100% Awesome! I loved this place. Excellent breakfasts too!
