We had a great vacation!
The Hola was close to downtown, which was one of the reasons we chose to stay there. $5.00 cab fare.
The room was nice! Big bathroom! Great water pressure! The maids do a great job-we tipped $5.00 a day.
The buffet restaurants are your typical fare. We didn't take advatage of them- opting to go out most of the time. The Fiesta Snack Bar had some awesome choices! They made fajitas, natchos, fried fish and chicken, salads, awesome fries, and just ask for guacamole- it's not advertised-but it's there and it's great!
We brought travel mugs and filled them with coffee each morning from the big urn at the entrance of the restaurant. I just asked the hostess for a plastic plate and brought pastries up to our room.
Bring your work-out wear! The gym had everything we needed as far as machines. Classes are available.
The Wednesday night Beach Party had a huge spread of food! Must go!! Great show! Don't miss it!
If you can- have dinner next door at "Le Petit France". Ask if you're on the list and you will eat for free! We paid $22.00 for a bottle of wine and tipped the same for the most amazing meal!
On to downtown- eat at Burros on the beach. Vendors come up to you while you're eating and drinking the best marguaritas ever!
Joe Jack's Fish Shack-best mojitos(hence the pic!) We went twice- try the shrimp tacos! Unbelievable!
The Rythum of the Nights Tour was amazing!!
We went deep sea fishing and caught some serious fish!
All round great vacation!
We will stay at the Hola again!
