I have stayed at Las Horetensias on two seperate visits to Cuernavaca. Both times, I had a clean room, friendly encounters with the staff and sparatic hot water at night. The rooms have satelite TV and soft beds. The only problem was when I brought a "guest" home with me at 5 AM and I had to bribe the man to let her in. I paid 200 pesos for two queen beds and private bath. The location next to the Cathedral and close to Zócalo. Good place, call ahead, which is the office somewhere else, tell them you want Hortensias and your on your way!
